Hi, I’m Ricky Waite (wayt). I've grown up in Texas; mostly living in Lubbock where my family is as well as for over 10 years in Austin.
I received my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2015. I made the decision to become a Social Worker when I was first working at an organization providing services to people living with HIV and saw the wonderful work the Social Workers at the organization were engaged in. The connections the Social Workers made with the clients spoke to me. I believe it’s our connections to one another and our communities that makes the biggest impact on our lives.

Access to mental health services has been key to my work over these many years. In order to help make my services available to more people, half of my caseload is reserved for clients paying $80 or less

When you contact me, please mention if you are using the sliding scale along with your requested fee tier. If there are no available spots in your chosen tier, you will be offered a spot in the next available tier or you may choose to join a waitlist for your preferred tier.

If you are making $70K+ annually, pre-tax and do not request use of the sliding scale, the full fee is $120/session. Otherwise, I offer these sliding scales as spots are available:

Your reduced fee is $100/session

are making $50K-$69K annually, pre-tax
TIER 2
Your reduced fee is $80/session
If you...
are a current graduate or undergraduate student
are making $30K-$49K annually, pre-tax
TIER 3
Your reduced fee is $65/session
If you...
are receiving social security or disability benefits
unemployed
on Medicare or Medicaid
an hourly wage worker earning $14/hr or less
employed only part-time, under 30 hours per week
